What is 5000moms?
Our project is focused on creating happy, healthy, balanced women who together, can make a significant impact on the lives of those around them. We started out with a group of 5 moms who have a BIG dream to share with moms who are looking for other sources of income as well as a community of support for the things that are most important to them.

Why did you choose the name "5000moms"?
We knew that this project would touch the lives of many people. We're also confident in the concepts behind the project. While 5,000 is a lot of people it's also perfect for us to shoot for HUGE success in touching the lives of other mothers.

Why are you the experts in the essentials provided?
Our Essential writers have all gone through life experiences that will benefit other moms. Each is passionate about their area of Essentials - Home, Body, Spirit and Business and were hand-picked because of their expertise and commitment to this topic.

How can I fit a business into my busy life?

Is this like a traditional job?
Working with our team as an independent USANA associate is unlike any other job with which you may be familiar. This is not a salaried position. Rather, you are able to earn commission on your product sales and the sales of your downline organization. You control how much you make, who you work with and how hard you work. However, this opportunity requires a professional commitment and has to be respected as a challenge. There are no bosses and there is no time clock. It is an entrepreneurial opportunity that has goals and rewards that are proportional to your effort. We have goals, objectives, teams, accountability - and of course both financial and intrinsic rewards.

How do I know what team I'll be assigned to?
Each Mom will be assigned to a team that is led by one of the founders of 5000Moms. Once you sign up, you will receive correspondence from that leader notifying you of your next steps. While the scope of 5000moms will include thousands of moms, each one will be welcomed individually and will be a member of one of our nine teams.

Where is 5000moms based?
We're a virtual community with founders living in California, Massachusets, Utah and Arizona. Our goal is to have an international organization.

Do you give my personal information (e-mail, contact info, etc) to other parties?
Your contact information is only used within the 5000moms project. We will never make this information available to third parties.

Do you accept someone who is already part of another USANA team?
No. This project is only available to the existing 5000moms leaders and their organization.

I don't know much about the health and wellness business, but I'm willing to learn. Can I still participate?
Having a background in the health or wellness industry is not a requirement to enroll as an independent USANA associate and as A World of Wellness team member. However, it is essential to be open and to have a desire to learn about this evolving industry.

How often will I hear from you once I join?
There are a few modes of communication we provide for you:

1. A 5000moms social network for members. This is where you can contact us any time for questions/concerns you might have.
2. Weekly email from 5000moms with a 5 minute challenge and check in from us to you for the week.
3. Sending us your accountability sheet so we have a check in from you.
4. Personal communication from your team leader.

What kind of training do you have?
We have a specific step-by-step training model available to all members of our team. This training will provide support, information, and communication with your individual leaders. Training and the Home, Body and Soul essentials can be found on their blogs on our homepage

What do I do if I have a problem or question about the training?
5000moms members have access to an interactive community website that will support your needs throughout their training.

What do I do if I want to go faster/slower than the training goes?
We're Moms just like you so we know that life is always dynamic and our schedules are sometimes not our own and that's OK! We have provided a training program that fits any mom's lifestyle. Whether it's 2, 5, 10 or 20 hours a week that you have available, this business can be personalized to fit your schedule.

How long will it take for me to be successful?
We've found that those women who have the desire to succeed usually do. If you don't have a desire to work in order to improve what you're doing, our project is not going to help you succeed. This is the time to recognize that the movement and dynamics of a group can benefit everyone on the team for a long time.

How much money can I make doing this?
None of us have quit our "day jobs" (after all... you can't quit being a Mom!) but that, and more, is certainly within reach for those who work hard and have fun. Like all other endeavors, "time-on-task" has proportional rewards. Your team leaders can help advise you on how to best reach your financial goals - whether it be paying for your products or supplementing your income. We cannot make financial claims as your income will be based on your individual experience.

Why did 5000moms choose this compensation plan?
There are a few reasons:

1. 5000moms could have charged a 'membership' fee to be part of our project. But then we would be the only ones earning money. We chose the best company in the industry in order to help each of the 5000moms have the chance to earn extra income.
2. The USANA Binary Compensation Plan is a binary system in which you build balanced left-side and right-side downline organizations for the purpose of selling USANA's nutritional and personal care products.
